"Da-da...Da-da... we found something in the river.  It's a baaaby.  A dykini!"

My son looks like a character from Willow.

I love this picture of Mr Potato Head invading my office.  Jackson keeps trying to wear his glasses.

Ravina is like a mass picnic.  Everyone brings their chairs, blankets, candleabras (no joke), picnic baskets, and wine and listens to a big time band play.  Last night it was the Steve Miller band with our friends, Ben and Heather.    This is my fav pic from the whole night (ladie's shoe with Amstel light on the Ravina table) because this was my view from my blanket somewhere in the middle of a sea of people.

Our freshly groomed summer rug-rat... and Elmo- recently pronounced "MEl-mo"

Here's a trick of the trade for all those interested in cutting their own kids hair:

1) Bring em' outside

2) Set a dish of favorite snacks (Jackson loves trail mix)

3) Schedule the haircut on garbage day....yep, garbage day.

Jackson was seriously enthralled with the truck coming up one side of the street and down the other, the garbage men and their sunglasses, and the noise of it all.  Makes a great distraction while coming up along the backs of their ears.  Yeah, it's pretty much a science.

Gotta grill out date night tonight- I'm stoked.  Get the h-dogs, and smore material- claim a hibachi grill at the park and get lost below the trees.  Do you guys remember that song...."Tonight I celebrate my love for you?" from the top 10 songs of the 80's?  Brian and I sing that operatically all the time.  It's hilarious.
